Q2 2024 Performance of Top Sandbox Games in the UK on Android

In the second quarter of 2024, the sandbox gaming category has seen varied performances among its top games on the Android platform in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data offers a closer look at how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Roblox, by Roblox Corporation, exhibited a steady trend with its revenue fluctuating around the $250K to $350K mark throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, finishing at 28K from an initial 28K. Weekly active users showed resilience, maintaining numbers above 2.5M with a slight uptick as the quarter closed.

Melon Sandbox, from playducky.com, showed an overall upward revenue trend, peaking at over $1K in the final week of June. The game's downloads reached a high of 9K in late May, but slightly decreased to 7.6K by the end of June. Active users peaked in early June at over 105K before a minor drop to just under 98K.

Wildlife Studios' Block Craft 3D：Building Game experienced modest revenue figures, mostly hovering around a few hundred dollars weekly. Downloads saw a decline from 10.4K to 4.2K, while active users decreased from 76K to 51K throughout the quarter.

Zamiton Dupila's Craft Box Game Tree saw no revenue, yet downloads were notable with a peak at 8.6K in late May, later declining to just above 1.5K in early June. Weekly active users showed growth mid-quarter, reaching over 15K before tapering off to around 10K.

Lastly, Block Crazy Robo World also reported no revenue. Downloads started strong at 8.4K, but saw a significant drop to just above 1K by June's first week. The game's active users exhibited a slight decline from 53K to 52K over the quarter.
